BROKOVICH

Artist passionate about drawing since his childhood Thomas BROQUET, alias BROKOVICH grew up in the heart of a Jura ski resort. His proximity to sliding sports naturally brings him closer to skateboarding and its identity culture in the movement of street art, graffiti and all forms of art in the public space.

After passing through the Lausanne Art School (ECAL), BROKOVICH specialized in graphic design. His versatility allows him to exercise both the profession of illustrator, graphic designer, enameller and to be a visual artist who has created his own artistic universe with identifiable signs of recognition making his works icons. .

Through the collections of masks, faces, figures, accumulated figurines, we always find the common thread of BROKOVICH like this pair of eyes which looks at you and which makes it its signature.

With dexterity, BROKOVICH masters all the supports and all the dimensions from the infinitely small to the fresco, his style is essential. He can engrave, paint, cut, glue, recover, accumulate or assemble while cultivating his child's soul. With mischief, he has fun recovering and diverting all kinds of objects to reclaim them and question their obsolescence.

The exhibition of the astonishing and dynamic work of BROKOVICH can be seen at the Galerie Breitenmoser from Thursday June 23 to Friday August 5, 2022.
