At Patrick MONTAGNAC, heaps of fluid and moving colours come to join the thickness of the pigments. Colour is celebrated on the canvas and appears in all its shades and structures.
The question of the imprint left by man and nature after the passage of time, but also the way in which they resist the force of natural elements animate the artist's thinking and inspire his work.
Influenced by his vision as an aeroplane pilot, his massive and sculptural paintings depict the natural erosion of mountainous reliefs taking on an aesthetic and poetic aspect to the canvas.
A generous painter, Patrick Montagnac is also committed to supporting various charitable projects in France and around the world. He considers this commitment as "the primary objective of his career" as a painter: "Giving, helping, is one of my main goals. It is the engine and the fuel that give meaning to my work".
